2025 Jeep Gladiator Release Date
2025 Jeep Gladiator Release Date, Specs and More
The Gladiator is essentially a truck version of the Jeep Wrangler and it has its own unique place on the automotive landscape. Jeep hasn't officially announced a release date for the 2025 Gladiator but we expect it will happen sometime in calendar year 2025. Like the Wrangler, the Gladiator lets you remove the top and the doors, making it America's only open-air pickup truck. It comes with a 5.5-foot bed in the back and also has outstanding towing capability. Here's what we know so far about the 2025 Jeep Gladiator at Parkway Dodge Chrysler Jeep in Clinton Township, MI.
What's new for 2025?
The manual transmission that was previously available has been discontinued and that leaves the eight-speed automatic as the standard choice. Power locks and power windows now come on the base Sport trim and two new exterior paint colors will be introduced: Fathom Blue and a military-style olive drab called '41. A new Active Cabin Ventilation system is also being made available, allowing you to pre-heat or cool the interior with a mobile app.

The engine and performance
Every 2025 Jeep Gladiator will be equipped with a 3.6-liter V6 engine that's good for 285 horsepower and 260 pound-feet of torque. Compared with the Wrangler SUV, the Gladiator gives you an extra 19.4 inches between the front and rear wheels, a feature that helps improve the ride and handling. Available off-road equipment includes protective skid plates, rock-crawling axle ratios and the ability to ford as much as 30 inches of water. A good amount of ground clearance and approach-and-departure angles also help make the Gladiator an effective off-road adventure machine.
Towing and payload capacity
The maximum towing capacity in the 2025 Jeep Gladiator is an impressive 7700 pounds when it's equipped with the optional Max Tow package. Otherwise, the Jeep Gladiator can pull a 4000-pound trailer, which is more than the Wrangler at 3500 pounds. The cargo bed can haul anywhere from 950 to 1725 pounds of payload. The Jeep Gladiator reach 60 mph in 7.2 seconds and fuel economy is estimated at 17 MPG in the city and 22 MPG on the highway.

Interior highlights
Inside the cabin, the Gladiator comes with an upright dashboard and user-friendly controls that include a unique waterproof push-button start system. Available features include heated front seats and a heated steering wheel. The stretched wheelbase provides more legroom in the back seat than the four-door Wrangler and the Gladiator has a number of places to store a smartphone as well as a handy compartment hidden under the back seats. The new Gladiator even lets you stow the seats in several different ways.
Technology
The new Gladiator comes with a large 12.3-inch center touchscreen that you can see easily in all lighting conditions and it responds rapidly to the touch. Wireless Apple CarPlay® and Android Auto™ smartphone connectivity is a standard feature. In addition, you can upgrade the stereo system with an optional subwoofer and a portable wireless speaker located behind the back seat. Passengers in the front seat have several power points available including two USBs and a USB-C port along with an available 115-volt power outlet.

Safety features
Available safety features in the Jeep Gladiator include adaptive cruise control, blind-spot monitoring and a front-facing camera that's very helpful when you're blazing rugged trails or crawling over rocks.
